Fiesta!!!!

Here in texas they have this thing called Fiesta!! It's a huge party and there are parade's and stuff. So the kids school also has a parade. They make a shoe box float and drag it around the school. Talia and Ever did really good making there floats.

Shanna's Visit

Shanna and Rae came for a visit in June. We had a blast! Talia and Rae were inseparable.

We had fun adventures hanging out on the riverwalk and eating ice cream, Going to Sea world was our big adventure and it was a blast!! We hung out in the pool a lot and played kinect on the xbox. It was a fun time and we hope they can visit again!!

Grandma's visit

At the end of May Grandma Doris came to vist. Here are a few pic's of our adventure.

We went to the Riverwalk, ZDT fun center, we got a greandma tree and Ever dressed as Elvis and played guitar with his hound dog!!

Talia's art

Talia has been begging for weeks to paint a copy of a picture she drew of saturn and the moon and stars. This picture has also been the center of 2 songs and a poem. So over spring break I finally got her a canvas and paint and this is the finished product.

Fans

Ok I have just done some major back blogging. I really should keep up on it so it's not so much work to do it all at once. But as always life gets in the way.

So we finally broke down and got fans for the house. We got 3. 1 for the loft ,1 for the living room and 1 for our bedroom. George installed all of them and did a great job for it being his first time installing a fan :)

This fan is in the living room. We have and angled 25 ft ceiling so we had to drop the fan about 4 feet so it would keep us cool.

Spring break

This past week was spring break here in Texas. I took the week off work to spend time with the kids. We spent time at the park, Chuck-E-Cheeses and The Natural bridge caverns. The caverns were fun, way over priced tho. But the kids enjoyed it, and thats all that matters right!

Oscar party and Valentines day

So I threw my first Oscars Party, It was fun and I hope to throw one again next year. Good food and good company. However my camera was misplace during the party so I only have the set up :(

Oh and just a pic of Valentines day dinner. The Kids each woke up with a heart baloon and a cup of candy in there room. They loved it!

Daddy daughter dance

Another Daddy daughter dance. The city we live in Schertz threw a daddy daughter dance at the civic center, so of course the dad nad the daughter went. talia had so much fun. The theme was candyland. She danced and played with baloons and ate sweets. It was a perfect night untill she lost the flower on her dress. She noticed it was gone and told Larsen, they looked for it and couldn't find it, She ten told him she needed to leave right then. As soon as they got outside she started balling she cried all the way home she was so upset. At least she had some fun.

Sprinklers and projects!!

The sprinkler pics were taken back in february on presidents day. It got to 85 outside so we let them play in the sprinkler. The project is mini air hockey table that Talia and Larsen wanted to build. She had so much fun making it and using all the power tools. I laughed at her cause she hides and cries when the vacuum comes near her, but she ready and willing to user a power drill. silly girl. The boys spent most of the time sitting in the land cruiser pretending to drive it! And fighting over who gets when they grow up. Nerds!
