Wierd Dog

Kitty Kat dog is so wierd some times and funny looking and i just had to blog about it.

I don't think there is any intelligence in those eyes.

Keyser's school project

Keyser and his friend Cedric are both in the Gifted class (IGNITE) that meets every Tuesday morning. Well the past 4 or 5 weeks they have been learning about the human body, And becoming doctors. They also were pretending to take their med board exams. Anyway Keyser and Cedric made a model of the digestive track out of clay, paper towel rolls and pink tape. They did such a great job. They even have it set p so the person can eat ( kind of) they take the head off the guy (paper towel roll) and drop clay food down it ( esophagus) and it lands in his stomach. It was too cute listening to Keyser Explain this whole process to the class. Any way i'm just really proud of all the work he has done for this project.

Happy Day

Well today is my B day and it was an awesome day. I got 2 really great presents. A camera to replace the one that got broke during scout camp and a video camera to replace the one we bought 9 years ago. We also went out to dinner and got crafty. Here are the pic's of the crafty part. We made turkey tea light holders . It was a blast but those little turkeys were a pain to make. Ok it wasn't that bad but it was way more work than we had expected. Those little turkeys sure did turn out cute. We cant wait to have them at our table on Thanksgiving.

pumpkin carving

Well i got lots of pictures of carving the pumpkins but got none of the finished pumpkins, I don't know how i missed that one. As always the kids love diving right in to all the messy work. This year they got to draw there own faces and carve it them selves (only boys). They were also super helper in collecting seeds for me to roast. (yum)

Cheerleading

Talia started cheerleading this week. She's super excited she has practice on Mondays and games on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Mom is at work on 2 or3 of thoses days so Ever has stepped up and is Talias offical photograper. He takes all the pictures for us so I don't miss a thing and so dad can get some studying done during practice.

Talia's Birthday

Talia's birthday was on the 7th. She is 5 now!!! She had a great day. Cinnimon rolls made to look like jack o lanterns for breakfast, Ham and cheese wraps for lunch and a fabulous day at preschool. Then when the brothers got home from school we all headed off to Build a Bear. Talia got an orange cat with pumpkins on it and dressed her up like princess aurora. The boys each got a costume for there bears at home. Then back home we went for a Mac and Cheese dinner and the present hunt. The birthday fairy hides all the presents and leaves clues to find them. It's really fun. And just our luck Talia's favorite princess is Princess Aurora and Sleeping Beauty came out on her birthday. She got a ton of fun stuff the big gift was her very own Nintendo DS and Build a Bear game. Lucky Girl. Then we had a delicious chocolate cake with princess on it and soon after it was bed time. Long day but a fun day!!
