Oscar party and Valentines day

So I threw my first Oscars Party, It was fun and I hope to throw one again next year. Good food and good company. However my camera was misplace during the party so I only have the set up :(

Oh and just a pic of Valentines day dinner. The Kids each woke up with a heart baloon and a cup of candy in there room. They loved it!

Daddy daughter dance

Another Daddy daughter dance. The city we live in Schertz threw a daddy daughter dance at the civic center, so of course the dad nad the daughter went. talia had so much fun. The theme was candyland. She danced and played with baloons and ate sweets. It was a perfect night untill she lost the flower on her dress. She noticed it was gone and told Larsen, they looked for it and couldn't find it, She ten told him she needed to leave right then. As soon as they got outside she started balling she cried all the way home she was so upset. At least she had some fun.

Sprinklers and projects!!

The sprinkler pics were taken back in february on presidents day. It got to 85 outside so we let them play in the sprinkler. The project is mini air hockey table that Talia and Larsen wanted to build. She had so much fun making it and using all the power tools. I laughed at her cause she hides and cries when the vacuum comes near her, but she ready and willing to user a power drill. silly girl. The boys spent most of the time sitting in the land cruiser pretending to drive it! And fighting over who gets when they grow up. Nerds!

Ever's mountain and solar system

Ever had to do and earthquake project for school and he chose to show an earthquake shaking a mountain. He also decribed how earthquakes can make mountains. He had a blast making this little model. He also had to make a model of the solar system and decribe each planet, he also had to choose his favorite planet and do a little oral speech about it. (He got an A on both)

Monster jam

Larsen took the boys to MONSTER JAM back in Janauary. They had a blast! thata all hey talked about for days on end. Keyser got a shirt and had a bunch of drivers sign it and ever bought a couple of monster trucks to add to his ever growing collection.

Ever's rocket

For Ever's 7th birthday he got a rocket kit. I know that was forever ago! Well we finally put it together and launched it. Ever had a blast and so did George. It is a reusable rocket so we can by more charges for it and launch it again. so that is the plan. In the spring the boys plan to do this again. I however am not holding my breath, it took 3 years to launch this one, so a relaunch could take a while! Oh sorry no pictures of the auctual take off I was trying to take pictures and take video of the event.

The kids love climbing in trees! Mostly they love playing outside in Decmeber with no jackets! This was our first Christmas in San Antonio and it was an enjoyable one.

Back to school 2010

Well another school year has started!! My kids sure are growing up. This year Keyser is in 5th grade, he is going to a new school for just 5th and 6th grade. It is kind of Jr. High style, he goes to diffrent classes but the whole class stays together. He has to get up pretty early for school, he has to be on the bus at 6:30am!
Ever is in 3rd grade this year! Talia is in 1st grade. They both still go to the same school and like it very much.
