Back to school for the boys

Well another year has started. We are all very excited!! Keyser started 3rd grade and Ever started 1st grade. They were a little nervous but seemed to settel in just fine. I can't wait for them to get home so i can hear all about their day.

surgery

Keyser and Talia had their tonsils and adnoids out today. Oh boy was that fun. We were at the hospital at 6:30 am and they went back for surgery at 8:10 Talia first and Keyser last they did really good. Talia fought a little when she was waking up but they let me crawl in to bed with her and help calm her down after about 10 or min. she was eating ice cream in recovery. About 30 min later Keyser was rolled in. George was wating for Keyser to get of surgery while I stayed with Talia. It was too cute one of the first things that they each said was I want my Keyser or I want my Talia. we were home at about 11 am and we layed down to take a nap and sleept untill 3 pm. A Friend of ours was nice enough to let Ever stay the night at her place so that we would not have to wake him up and take him to the hospital with us. He came home shortly after us and was nice enough to play a kindergarten computer game so that we could all sleep.

So while the boy's were away at camp Ever Talia and I went and did a few fun things. First we went to Chuck E Cheese and out to dinner at denny's I spent a grand total of $21 dollars! The next day we went swimming at the base pool.

Scout camp

They had a blast at camp and did so much too. It rained the whole time but it was still fun for both of them. But they were both very excited to get home and to be dry.

Ok I am a total NERD. I have an insane need to document every moment of well everything. so here is the first installment of many scout camp pictures. Keyser and George left for camp today and I am bumed i have never been away from Keyser for more that 2 days and here he is growing up and leaving me for 4 and 1/2 days. I am so glad that george was able to go with him. It was a very tearfull good buy Ever and Talia were so sad and crying it was more heartbreaking to watch them than Keyser leaving me. Both ever and Talia keept huging Keyser telling him they would miss him soooo much. They huged dad too but they cryed more about missing Keyser than anything. Anyway hope you enjoy the pictures of them leaving for camp

midnight sun park

Another bike ride this time we went to the midnight sun park here on base it's about 3 miles away. It was a blast the kids did great riding we went with some friends that had a bike trailor so talia got to ride in that. wich i think was better she's good at riding her bike (no training wheels sense last summer) but it was a really long ride for a 4 year old. it was a fun day we left at 11 am and got home at 3 pm long day but fun we will definatily do it again soon.

We have been on a bike riding kick latley so we took a little bike ride over to ship creek here on base. we played around and skipped rocks for a little while and headed home it was a fun time had by all

Last day of school

So the last day of school was may 22nd. And boy are the kids ready for it . It has been another long cold school year and we are looking forward to alot of sun.
