Aviation outing

Keyser's scout den had a outing to the aviation school here in anchorage. the got to see lots of engines and planes and got to go in a fake controll tower and see flight simulators. Keyer did well taking care of talia.

Easter was fun. but it would have been funner if there was no no snow on the ground so we could go out side and hunt for eggs. so we hunted eggs in the house for the 4th time. The kids got some cool gifts Keyser a new radio to plug his ipod into and Ever got an ipod shuffle and Talia got a tinkerbell bike. I had to work that day so we did our easter dinner the night before. and we did NOT have Ham. I know shocking coming from the girl who loves ham but french dip sandwiches and chocolate lava cake sounded better. Hopefully next year we will be able to get outside and hunt eggs!! only a month or two untill we find out where we are going next!!!

Science Fair projects

Ever's project was about changing the tempature of popcorn krenels and how it affected them popping. It was inconclusive.

Keyser"s project was about ever's heartbeat and waht activities made his heartbeat go fast.

Glasses and Braces!! what a week !!

Keyser got glasses last friday and today he got braces. He only has 4 little braces on the front to start. but as we go he will get more and more and I will pay more and more!!

Ladies Oscar Party

The past couple of years my friend Val has hosted a ladies only oscar party. We all get super dressed up and walk the red carpet to Val's living room. We eat lots of goodies and watch the Oscars and of course play silly games and win movie theamed prizes. The little girls are invited and they have a girls party night downstairs. they made necklaces and played games and they even won prizes and of course they had tons of treats that gotthem super hyper. The night was a blast I had so much fun and enjoyed spending time with good friends. Can't wait for next year !!!
