project wednesday--planting green houses

About 3 weeks ago the kids and I planted little green houses. Of course this was when the weather was sunny and nice and most of the snow had melted and planting things sounded like a good idea. I should have known better this is Alaska.

Daddy daughter under the sea gala

The YMCA here on base hosted a daddy daughter dance. Talia has been excited for 2 weeks waiting for her special day. She went to the store picked out a dress, shoes, purse and lipstick to match. She had an absolute blast, dancing the night away with daddy. She also rode in a cinderella caraige. Poor george forgot he's allergic to horses sniff sniff. George said she really likes to party all she wanted to do was dance and play and eat cake. She loved meeting all the little girls. She also received to little gifts a star fish necklace and an alaska polar bear bennie baby.

She say's " It was the best night of my little life "

Easter day

Ok Talia got a Hannah Montanna towel and the Enchanted movie. wow was she so super excited. Ever got a DS game and a cars towel and Keyser got a Spiderman towel and an Ipod shuffel. We had some super stoked kids. Seeing how it's still pretty snowey and freezing outside we have held egg hunts inside for the past 3 easters. Not alot of fun for the boys but Talia still gets a kick out of it. I can't wait to be some place warm and do egg hunts out side or even an egg war just as long as it's warm and there's no snow on the ground.

No matter how many times we see them they are still awesome!!

This one ate our tree for about 20 min then hung out and took a rest for about an hour after that.

Egg dying!!!

We had a blast dying eggs this year. The kids are old enough to do it them selfs for the most part. Talia needed a little help but she did pretty good with Ever and Keyser showing her how.
